Weapons, Abilities and Curses

Location-Based Immortality

While residing in #2904, Moth is unable to die from injuries. However, he is still able to feel pain.  

Writer's Notepad

Moth carries around a simple notepad that is capable of indirectly altering Anatole's story when written in, though he does not personally intervene.  

Presence Erasure

Due to pretty much being a cryptid, Moth has an uncanny ability to erase any traces of his presence or past existence.

Personality

Moth tends to present himself as professional, calm, and reserved while doing his work at The Merr. Outside of this, he is shown to be protective of the two moth-children in his care and greatly values those currently in his life.

Backstory

Moth began existing as a ghost in dimension #ffff one day, presumably in one of the deeper layers. There, he stayed alone for multiple years, presumably unable to leave. Marble was supposedly created near the end of this time, the nature of this is not yet known. It is also unknown how Moth had managed to teach himself how to speak, among other things. At one point, Moth had discovered a warp to a space between dimensions from traversing to a surface layer. He destroyed a chunk of the dimension in order to construct what would become dimension #2904. In this dimension, he took the physical form of an anthropomorphic silk moth. Although he technically does not have a gender, he presents himself as male.   It is said that the containing bar once flourished, with multiple employees from neighbouring dimensions working there. Since the employees referred to him as the name of his species, he began adopting it as his first name due to his lack of knowledge of what moths are. However, one day the bar's exterior began disappearing from its set locations, employees stopped showing up and Moth was isolated once again. Moth is currently a business partner of the Engelbar, offering promotions in exchange for supplies and another portal. Another moth-child, Dath, suddenly appeared in The Merr one day. Although the nature of their appearance is unknown, Moth seemingly cares for them all the same.

Goals

He simply wishes to live out a nice, quiet life and write a decent story while he's at it.

Fears

Moth holds his loved ones close to his heart, his biggest fears are both being isolated from them or having harm come to them.
