Dankie (dan-kee)

Appearance

Dankie is a short teenager with equally short and unkempt black hair. Usually, their hair is unstyled, resulting from bedhead but sometimes they have it in a little ponytail. They have noticeable eyes, both because it always looks like they've just finished crying and their right eye is a little crossed. Because of their wide eyes, they more often quickly turn their head to look at the right place instead of moving their eyes, similar to animals with bulging eyes. Not shaving often, Dankie also has light stubble and a moustache. Though you can't see it, under their bodysuit they have plenty of scratches and wounds due to their carelessness. Bread crumbs are often spotted on their chest, sleeves, mouth and lap.  

Drip and Accessories

They always wear a black bodysuit that covers all their skin, paired with a cloth mask with a section cut out for their chin and mouth. On top of this, they don a mustard/Pantone yellow Stellar Government cadet uniform consisting of a combat vest with beige trims, puffy trousers and black plated boots. Their helmet has been decorated with stickers on the inside - though this can only be removed when Dankie isn't on active duty. Additionally, they wear a special yellow "warp jacket" that gives them special abilities. Lastly, Dankie wears a beige backpack often full of snacks and ammunition.

Weapons, Abilities, and Curses

In Loving Memory

After a Dankie clone dies, they are given the opportunity to assist the next in line by passing down their abilities (though not every clone is given powers or a supernatural origin). A new Dankie clone is only given access to these powers when they are made aware of the method to channel them - the Warp Jacket. Using multiple of these abilities at once is also a tedious process that the clones haven't mastered yet, so they only use one at a time.  

Warp Jacket

When wearing their warp jacket, Dankie is able to connect to all of their previous clones and emulate their abilities. The jacket's power is affected by heat, functioning better in heat and becoming weaker in the cold. These abilities include:   Dangle - Intangibility
This allows Dankie to become intangible and avoid obstacles or get around things quickly. Regardless of their tangibility, they have weak points in their hands and feet, since these need to stay tangible to stop Dankie from falling into the ground. They can pass through walls by quickly jumping or throwing themself. They cannot walk through objects as that would make them merge with the ground and get stuck.   Hapnes - Agility Boost
Dankie is unathletic, but Hapnes provides a counter to this by passing down his spontaneous energy. This improves their speed and hand-to-hand combat and is also an assist for their RNG based powers.   Barbs - Size Manipulation
From resizing toy cars to make them functional vehicles to shrinking a bank safe to fit in their pocket, size manipulation is a very versatile ability. Though Barbs didn't use it to its full potential in life, Dankie found that it has much more to offer. Through exploration and practice, it can be used to alter living beings, nature and much much more. The ability ranges from 2cm to 3m, however, these limits could be broken as the power is still underdeveloped. It also requires a lot of focus and energy to use, causing Dankie to become dizzy and pass out after a while.   Impkie - Devil's Tail, Super Strength

Personality

Dankie is a very warm soul, attaching to and loving their friends deeply. This also makes them very clingy and vulnerable, even sometimes acting like a crybaby.  

History

The current Dankie was recently released from their stasis in #2004, continuing the long line of clones. The last clone was killed by Anatole during a blizzard in #000  

Goals

 

Fears

Dankie fears abandonment, that those around them will someday leave them and leave them alone forever. They also don't want their favourite bakery to close down.
