Ingeniare Miasma forms inanimate objects, minerals, crafted goods, earth, stone, water, metal, and every non-living structure.
Properties:
- Instability causes physical warping: gravity anomalies, shifting geometry, collapsing landscapes, spontaneous creation of mineral formations.
- High concentrations can birth elementals of earth, stone, steel, crystal, or gravity.
- Over time, imbalanced Ingeniare Miasma reshapes terrain and architecture.
- Buildings twist or settle oddly
- Metal behaves strangely. Premature fatigue. Odd Magnetic Properties.
- Stone begins growing like a plant.
- Gravity exhibits unpredictable inconsistencies.
- Crafted items self animate or behave unpredictably.
Mechanics & Inner Workings
All four miasmas, including ingeneial, share a common fundamental trait: they are unstable and yearn to return to their native existence in the Unwoven Deep. The Unwoven Deep is the realm of true miasma untainted with the order of reality.
Miasma progresses through seven stages prior to reaching the critical mass necessary to return to the Unwoven Deep: Concentration, Warping, Mutation, Reality Distortion, A breach between realms, Leakage between Realms, Planar Pull, and then the miasma is finally returned to the Unwoven Deep.
The more abundant the miasma in the region of concentration, the more violently it attempts to escape. Different products of this violent decompression are: planar rifts, local distortions, pressure zones, magical storms, and conceptual anomalies.
