LMS Explorer
The LMS Explorer was a LEGO Mining Ship used by the Rock Raiders as their base of operations. A massive ship, it carried a considerable complement of Rock Raiders and vehicles. Only one was actually ever built.
Power Generation
The ship was powered entirely by a single powerful fusion reactor that used energy crystals as a fuel. The reactor converted the raw crystals into a liquid fuel that it used to start a fusion reaction. The amount of power generated by the reactor was sufficient to power the entire ship, and also provided energy for the ship's main fusion drive and hyperdrive.
Propulsion
The ship used four large fusion thrusters and an array of reaction control thrusters to move the ship. In addition, it had a powerful hyperdrive that enabled faster-than-light travel across the universe, though it required considerable amounts of energy from its fusion reactor.
Armor and defense
The ship was equipped with a powerful energy shield, used primarily to protect the ship against asteroids and other space phenomena.
Communication Tools & Systems
The ship had a powerful communications array, using a large dish and antenna array, which enabled communications across light-years.
Sensors
Powerful sensors allowed the ship to scan an entire system with ease, enabling it to determine which planets were suitable for mining. If the ship needed to perform a deep scan of a planet's resources below its surface, it did need to be in orbit of the planet in question.
Additional & auxiliary systems
One of the more critical systems of the LMS Explorer was its transporter. If the ship was in orbit of a planet, it could transport Rock Raiders, vehicles, and base buildings to almost anywhere on the planet, including deep below the surface. In certain situations though, the ship would require a transport booster on the planet to enable transportation to more isolated regions.
Hangars & docked vessels
The ship possessed a large hangar bay that could carry a complement of two small auxiliary craft for close-range exploration and space-to-ground transport.
