Mime

Basic Information

Anatomy

Mimes are shape-shifting monsters that have the exceedingly strange habit of mimicking large lock boxes. Their natural form is that of a four armed humanoid with no legs. They are most often described as, "gross spider things."

Biological Traits

Unlike other Abominations, Mimes do not fit into the hoard dynamic and will attack other Abominations without a second thought.

Genetics and Reproduction

The genes of mimes are too warped by Chaos magic to allow them to reproduce on their own.

Growth Rate & Stages

Mimes seem to grow with every being they consume, mimicking ever bigger objects as they progress.

Ecology and Habitats

Mimes are most commonly found in ruins or hiding in the Shadowlands. They seem wholly unconcerned with any creature that isn't a Mortal and leave the other races alone.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Mimes are strange creatures that do not seem to abide by the normal laws of atrophy. the scholars of Hematite only recently concluded that the Chaos Taint has granted them a weird form of immortality.

Additional Information

Uses, Products & Exploitation

The stomach acid of a Mime is a highly corrosive material capable of melting anything short of Willforged Iron. It is extremely hard to collect and a single vial can be sold for five gold. Most Mimes have at least six vials worth of recoverable acid within them.

Facial characteristics

Mimes do not have faces, only giant, elastic and boneless mouths.

Average Intelligence

Mimes have never displayed any more than the most basic of instincts.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Mimes are completely blind, deaf and have no sense of smell. As such, most scholars believe they navigate by feel alone and use their latent magical ability to locate prey.
