The Academy of Discovery
Overview
The Academy of Discovery is a college complex within a Layer anomaly that may be connected to any place of scholarship, learning, or discovery at any given time. It is one of the Contradiction’s favorite homes, as well as one of its possible manifestations, where one can find ‘By Candle-Light’, ‘The Butterfly Effect’, and ‘Both Rock and Hard Place’. It has been described by visitors, both intentional and accidental, as a great messy tangle of hallways and rooms, filled with lockers that contain numerous relics of the Contradiction, and roamed by disembodied voices that yammer on about ‘various theories, from science to religion, interspersed with screams, conspiratorial whispers, and shouts of ‘HERASY’ every so often’.
