Dwarves

The Dwarven men of the mountains have always been tough fighters. A love for shiny metals should not be overlooked by their strengths, they are shrewd diplomats, great fighters and very very good at drinking. In fact the only thing the dwarves aren't good at generally are most forms of magic and most forms of ranged weapons, although every dwarf loves a good giant crossbow.   Unfortunately, when the world fell most dwarves did too. Being underground was the worst place to be with the dark hordes coming from even farther beneath them. Dwarves in many places however learned how to adapt and have since been forming small settlements. The most important of these is not a small settlement however, as the Dwarves managed to put together a city against all odds called Hongen. Few know about their little nook in the mountain and fewer still believe it will last. But with the tides against them, a dwarf is destined to save the city.   Spoiler
Dwarves are considered very strange people, as they all hear a voice in their heads. Considered to be their God, known to man as the Tallest Mountain Pantheon. This has caused most Dwarves to stick to themselves, very wary of outsiders. In Hongen, it is known that the dwarves do exactly what the whispers say. In Sospitator though, most dwarves have forsaken their voices. Despite this, they never stop speaking, and many dwarves occasionally go mad.
