Overview of the Sapient Species in Ki

Humans: The most populous of the races in Ki, Human migration to this land began 2000 years ago and profoundly changed the course of history. A diverse peoples, Humans have created numerous kingdoms and city-states throughout all regions in Ki. Known for their versatility and resilience.

Elves: One of the Elder Races and oldest among the living species, the ancient Elves have occupied the Lands of Ki for 12,000 years. They trace their origins to the divine Gelda created in the image of the Goddess Dardossa herself. Known for their advanced magical abilities, religious zealotry scholarly knowledge. The Elves of Ki are divided into d3 cultural groups who migrated to different regions throughout their long history.

Dwarves: Dwarves emerged from the land of no sun (underground) 4000 years ago and were the first to introduce bronze metallurgy to the Land of Ki. Sturdy and resourceful the Dwarves are known for their intricate craftsmanship and artistic marvels. The Diverse Dwarves are divided into different clans and states that occupy the high peaks of Ki.

Suzmites: Migrating from unknown lands 400 years ago the Suzmites are the smallest of all the races in Ki. Known for their insular communities and wary nature most Suzmites now inhabit either the Bsharri Forest or the human villages of the Celvant.

Dijaal: The Dijaal are a mysterious race from the harsh deserts of the Southern Wastes. The Dijaal resemble that of humans but have skin of orange or red and from their scalp emerge horns like that of a ram. Little is known about the Dijaal.

Extinct Races: The Elder Races of Giants and Quali walked these lands during the Elder Times 11,000 years ago. They were wiped out during Gol-Beki holy crusade known as the Great Cleansing.
