Grindour
He has been around for along time. The gauntlets are the ones that hold his main conscience, he only knows about things he has witnessed from other wielders of the gauntlets. The more him and the wielder bond, the more they will both become stronger, a commensalistic relationship.

He used to be a full set of armor but was separated and throughout time the only one that hasn't become dormant is the gauntlets. If the wielder of the gauntlets were to gain more of the armor they would combine, Grindour becoming more whole.
