Centaur
Centaurs trace their origin to an elven tribe that once wandered the plains but were soon beset by ancient humans who had mastered horseback riding. The elves had druids amongst them who used magic to temporarily grant the tribe centaur forms to combat the bandits. Over generations the tribe spent more and more time as centaurs until they had forgotten they were anything else.
Centaurs, being half horse and half mortal (some centaurs have more human traits thanks to mixed breeding), require lots of space, and have powerful forms. They vary in personality but are a proud people.

Preferred Climate: Temperate.
Preferred Environment: Forests and plains.
Average Height: 2m - 2.5m.
Average Build: Varies Greatly.
Skin Colours: Pale white, tan, olive, brown, ebony (and many shades between).
Hair Colours: Blonde, red, black, brown, white (and many shades between).
Eye Colours: Blue, brown, hazel, green (and many shades between).
Notable Traits: Any equine body may appear as centaur (horse, zebra, unicorn). Centaurs have over the centuries picked up two different strains in their biology, with their upper half often appearing as either human or elven.
