The Halting of Shadow

Era beginning/end

The decisive battle between the First Heroes and the Dark Lord Kylrad. The heroes successfully stopped the advance of the shadow and managed to trap the Dark Lord below the clouds.

The First Heroes came together to fight the Dark Lord at The Temple of the Beacons. The Dark Lord brought the full might of his armies to meet them and the remaining forces of light. The heroes were cast down, but with their dying acts, they imbued their weapons with great magics, creating artefacts of immense power to serve as anchors, keeping the Dark Lord in the realm of shadow. These artefacts were later placed in secure locations across the world. The shadow ceased to advance, and the survivors settled as close to its edge as they dared.
