Banaar (Bon-yar)
The jungle moon of moon of Banaar is home to centuries old deposits of Indium ore. Though colonization has proved challenging Abalone inc. has established a network of slave run mines aimed at harvesting the precious metal.
Geography
Vast thick rainforest covers the mountainous landscape. Large freshwater lakes are in abundance on Banaar though the planet lacks any oceans. The natural beauty of the forest has been somewhat sullied by the numerous slave camps within the jungle.

History
Discovered by the Explorers Guild in 2247 the planets mining rights where put up for auction by the Kaylone Empire a year later. During the auction Abalone inc. was outbid by the Tiver Corporation. Shady dealings and violent sabotage ensued and by 2248 the Tiver Corp. was forced to flee the moon and ownership was handed over to Abalone.
In 2257 Banaar would be used as the meeting place of Alexander Morel and the member of the Imperial Heist.
