Session Report 021: In Which the Second Sortie Succeeds

Wherein Exposition Occurs

  Composure regained, the heroes strike to regain control over the Scriptorium and Alchemist's Furnace forcing the shaman Giydya back towards the Scriptorium. The trollkin's defensive barriers burn as alchemist's fire is smashed on them, rendering them to naught but ash.   Retreating back to the safety of Red Tower the heroes regroup and contemplate a two-pronged attack, one through the front and another through their secret back entrance. It's always risky splitting the party but the pincer maneuver can cut off any escape avenues. The Knights of Khors stand ready and willing to put their training to the test.   What lies in the back entrance? And is the DM offering suggestions to the players just to mess with them? What fell horrors lay in wait?
