Session Report 020: In Which the Second Siege of Khors Launches its First Assault

Wherein Exposition Occurs

  The portal to Evermaw, Land of Undead, threatens to flank the heroes so the aim to remove the buildup of undead now residing in the Crypts. Vailima summons the dancing Zombies who serve their purpose as pawns in the fight.   The fight with the wights was interrupted by a routine patrol of trollkin, lead by Lieutenant Egail but the heroes put both threats down and regroup with the Knights of Khors to continue to push deeper into the Scarlet Citadel. With the safety of Ushulx on their mind, they know their time is limited.   Enraged that the crude trollkin are abusing the ancient dwarven forge, Vorbund executes the hot-headed Lieutenant Egail but only after forcing her to look into the Void Frog and breaking her mind by viewing the incomprehensible infinite.   The trollkin bodies, minus Egail who was turned to soup by Vorbund, were hung up in the Oubliette in hopes to replenish their lost zombie forces. No discussion on the morality or ethics of this act ensued.
