Session Report 014: In Which the All Valley Tournament is a Rousing Success

Wherein Exposition Occurs

  Advertising! Food! Drink! Tickets!   Putting on their green visor, the heroes set up their Fighting Pit to host the first ever All Valley Tournament.* The beans need to be counted and balanced, and to help the ledgers land on the sides of group the heroes acquire most of their foodstuffs for sale on their own.   Erky pens cute chibi stickers and releases them with the advertisements. Rumors circulate that if get a sticker where Gru is shooting a star you'll win a prize.   Gru fought the Fox - Gru ziplines in but does not stick the landing, causing the crowd to laugh at him. Though Fox was the fan favorite Gru overcame the crowd and came out victorious.   Erky vs Yawndell - An open pit with no place to hide is no battleground for a small little gnome! With all his agility negated, Erky faces off the fearsome fighter Yawndell. Yawndell supernovas on his turn and ends the fight in a single turn   Mattias vs Orla - Mattias uses his spider cloak to ensnare Orla in webs! However the Moon Druid quickly turns that against him by turning into a spider and   Imortra the Debased, former boss of Verby shows up to the festivities surround by foul smelling robed figures and keeps an eye on everything. She is later kicked out due to trumped up charges of bringing in outside food, even though no stipulation against it was ever made.   Havran Krev the enigmatic runic bard speaks with the players about heading South to seek an audience with powerful dragon allies. Chaos grows and rumors of the End Times circulate while more countries build out their armies.   While no greater agreement was to be made, an exchange for knowledge of a back passage into the Scarlet Citadel is made for the Book of Memories of the Broodmother.   The heroes rally up the swan chariot and fly off to the Dread Dragon Temple. Flying south along the White Mountains they are at the edge of the Dragon Empire who continue to push their boundries north.   Still a days ride away, they can clearly see the dragon shaped temple etched along the mountain.     *Any resemblance to any other fictional or real tournaments is purely coincidential and not intended to infringe on any other entity's rights or intellectual property.
