Session 011: In Which Cagoth-ze Gets Tinkerbelle'd

Wherein Exposition Occurs

  Egor was targeted not once but twice by the Phantasmal Killer, spell. Images conjured by his deepest fears, but he stood fast and did not waiver against them. He remained in front, taking blow after blow of the pseudopod attacks. The black ink nearly downed him but both he and Eric survive at exactly 1 hp - as they are wont to do.   Vailima claims the high ground and brings death down upon the oozes, shooting out attacks from atop Cagoth-ze's stored food. Using the Wand of Winter created by Konrad she becomes the ooze killer thankfully Danaska wasn't around as witness to the carnage lest her heart be broken.   Nyra continues to fight for her place amongst the followlings, accidently making offensive gestures at Egor whilst making poop emojis while trying to convey battle battle strategies to him.   The heroes continue to be obstinate and refuse to name the mercenary group they hope to found in Redtower.   Loud noises and a rush of air come from deeper within the Scriptorium and the heroes rush out with booze, ink, and gnome. Falling back to the relative safety of Level 1: Dungeon and Crypts, they learn that Ushulx is worried to be caught as an accomplice to harming one of Gellert the Gruesome's lieutenants.   Using skills learned at the Murder at the Crossroads Company the interrogation of Cagoth-ze begins... You won't believe Interrogation Technique Number 4!   ...   It's olive eating.   Vailima eats Cagoth-ze's beloved olives aright in front of him! Oh the humanity!   Answers are demanded as the heroes take count of their situation. Do they trust Ushulx? She-who-must-not-be-named? Mayor Wislaw Broz? Constable Roch? Even Konrad is under suspicion!
