Wherein Exposition Occurs

  The major domo Adderly turned out to the be the devilish retainer keeping a watchful eye on General Legora. His close proximity to those in control of the Crossroads Company allowed him to twist their minds and turn old friends into new enemies. After an intense fight the heroes win the day over the devil, but at what cost?   The remaining heroes survey House Legora and find it broken and shattered by the devils that broke forth. The spirits and health of the remaining mercenaries is not much better.   Barely recognizable, the corpse of Eric is pulled from the ambers of hell. Destined to bring balance to the Ley Lines, now he has become more machine than man. We can rebuild him better than before. You won't like him when he's angry. (ok I think I've hit the requisite number of pop-culture references...)   We now collect ourselves and start to truely recognize the price paid and the spoils gained.
