Session 002: In Which the Heroes... OBJECTION!

Wherein Exposition Occurs

  Bribes help pay for college! And with such, the town guard led the heroes around a walkabout the city. The heroes swung by Konrad's house (still very much shattered) and picked up their star witness Konrad for what they hope will be a triumphant day in court.   Constable Roch was none to pleased to see such a rough group of adventurers but he has his job to do and opened up to the possibility of their innocence. Bonding over fine tobacco the heroes had Roch reminiscing about his military days as part of the Duck Side of the Moon regiment. He used his saved up money to get a Law degree to become the finest constable in all of Redtower. He sits pretty and has no competition as constable for the election coming up in 2 years and 8 months.   With troubles in town resolved, onwards to the Scarlet Citadel and saving Dugan Lovay! Rushing in to free the prisoners, they find a herbalist Ichbon Teastrainer and the merchant Dugan. Broken by the torture Ichbon collapsed in a fit of pain and alerted Scar there was something amiss. As he went to check on the prisoners the heroes trapped the large red ogre in a hallway and beat him but not before he sprayed acidic blood on the heroes, nearly killing the prisoners in one sizzle.   Scar's blood infected Lumi's mind and the peaceful druid to drop her staff and begin raging against the world! The pent up angst led her to punch and slam at Egor but was unable to land any substantial damage to the large goliath.   A curious head pokes out from around the corner and a hooded figure with a feminine speaks out to the heroes, "Please help me kill the Gaoler. I just want to worship Charun alone in peace!"    

Wherein Highlights of the Day Get Written and Codified Into Canon

 

• Vailima Spent her time perfecting the craft of music and fashion. The lithe Air Genasi rode about Egor's shoulder's making way too many music references to be contained in one Session Report so you only get one at the end.
• Eric Making amends with Constable Roch, he kept an eye out for ne'er-do-wells and found a group of adventurers acting sus. They were sabotaging the town's merchants and spreading lies and slander in an attempt to get better pricing for themselves! The were reported and removed from town. Good job Eric!
• Vedran Through the rubble and ruin Vedran sees only hope. Searching deep into the crypts he finds a shine missing the artifact it once held. The Ki-rin Gratiana came before him and commanded, "Behold me! Stolen from us was the Eye of Khors! Find it to restore this temple."
• Lumi Even this small town is too big for Lumi's tastes, so she searched out for creatures of peace in the surrounding forest. Peace was made between her and a skunk friend as they broke bread together.
• Egor There is peace and rhythm in physical work. While helping Vedran fix the temple of Khors Egor sees a bit of himself within these ruins, broken but not destroyed. If there is hope for these shattered rocks to become great, then why not him?
