Auld Tree
These vast trees can be found in almost every large forest in the known world. Considered to be the oldest trees in existence, or the "first trees" as they are known in the Moon Sea, they are large enough that the Forest Folk made their homes inside their enormous trunks for thousands of years.
Auldwood has a variety of magical properties, so many of the trees have been cut down by the end of the 2nd Era. The most remain in the Great Forest, where the rules and customs around their use are held sacred. But even there, they are a dying breed.
