Upper Shaft Room
Before the end of the stairs from the Antechamber, there is a worn pit trap. The last step and 5 feet of the floor is thin slate and plaster. Stepping on the last step requires a reflex save as it collapses into a 30 foot deep by 10 foot wide, stone pit. There’s nothing in the pit save for prayers written in Old Khemitian, for those who die here that Ades has mercy over them in the afterlife and not for them to dwell here. Beyond the pit is the doors to the tomb. Painted on the door is a younger man; stylized in Khmetian (Art) form with geometric patterns surrounding the portrait. It looks like a younger/stylized version of the older man in front. The doors are wooded with plaster cover concealing them. The plaster is fragile, but the door can open.
