A flood of enormous proportions destroyed the fishing colony in the delta.

In the spring of twenty years after they marooned in these lands. The First Flood came. It destroyed the fishing colony in the delta and killed many people living there. Survivors found their way as refugees north. They begged to be able to settle near The Start and everyone who aknowledged Carl as their new lord was grated their wish. Some however (mostly Bank supporters) were disgruntled and left without the aknowledgment. They founded their own setlement on the western bank. of the conflux.
