Gathering / Conference
The First spring after the new arrivals the colony desided it grew large enough to need a sense of leadership. So in the end two leaders were voted in. One from the west survivors and one from the easternbound survivors.
The new survivors demand sense of leadership. They disregard communal structure of our colony. During winter discontent grew between the two sides to the point of brawls which left two dead men. In the spring a gathering was called and leadership discused. The simple fact eased a tension a lot, but it grew as it proceeded for weeks. Two largest groups were competing for every vote and every family to join their point of view. The West Way (WW) claimed the importance of fishing and other food gathering over all else while the East Bank or Bank argued for high caution in the unknown lands and for arming every household. The two sides gathered large support and before the end of the negotiations it seemed the West got more votes. Hostilities flared again and discontented involved themselves in brawls and gang violence. A third side started to creep in and gaining support, their idea being total freedom for individuals emphasising exploration and finding new lands to settle. The Road as they called themselves scooped up the undecided votes. In May group of scouts was atacked from unknown enemy in the east. The Bank saw surge of support and tied with the WW in votes. Leaders of The Road argued for cease of the hostilities and appointing a leader from each of the two factions. The Road would at the same time be disregarded by both as nonsubjects, leading their own way to exploration and settlement of the wild. This was opposed by the two main factions and a new wave of violence surged through the colony. After the riots died out The Road disapeared. All the supporters and the leaders just vanished or were killed. Two Leaders were then appointed, each from one of the factions. WW would care for the citizen while the Bank would start a military and exploring the frontier.
