Deep Orcs

Basic Information

Anatomy

Short stunted bodies with weak muscles ideal for narrow caves. When encountered inside their domain they seem almost boneless as they can fit through crevisces as thin as a foot wide. Big ears standing outwards on skinny head are the only exagerated feature of their being.

Cold blooded, skin without melanin and carnivorous

Genetics and Reproduction

Swarming of orcs is not comonly placed and it's usualy accompanied by acquiring huge amounts of food by the swarm.

Growth Rate & Stages

Deep orcs are very aggressive when encountered, but due to their dietary habits we dont assume high longetivity of individuals.

Ecology and Habitats

As the name suggests deep orcs are comonly found in caves and caverns ussualy not coming out of these systems when undisturbed.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Deep orcs diet is almost exquisitly carnivorous. Meat is not comon in the deep underground and so deep orcs tend to canibalise each other. They are highly territorial in regards to these conditions

Social Structure

The only authority is chieftain. Every member has same value as the next leading to squables.

Domestication

Only way would be dealings with the Chief, but he's well guarded and does not go outside.

Uses, Products & Exploitation

There are rare accounts stating the swarm to be good way of guarding entrances to hidden places and bases.
