Mary
The kind-hearted and loving woman in charge of Dwarrowdwelf’s kitchen, she is a comforting presence to all who pass through its halls. Round-faced—and round-bodied—she is a cheerful woman in her forties whose features are beginning to show the passage of time. Her once-dark raven hair has begun to fade, and her pale blue eyes, though dimmed with age, carry a quiet, hidden wisdom.
She always welcomes the party with a warm, genuine smile. Her tanned and wrinkled skin tells the story of a hard-working life spent in service, and though her wardrobe has evolved, her humble spirit remains unchanged. When first assigned to Dwarrowdwelf, she arrived with only a handful of tattered shirts, worn skirts, and rough leather shoes. Now, thanks in part to the adventurers' patronage, her attire has been refreshed with sturdier garments—she's even treated herself to a lace-trimmed skirt and a silk blouse for formal occasions.
Yet, she still covers her arms and neck, always. Beneath her long sleeves are strong, capable arms—scarred, but loving. High collars, scarves, and hoods discreetly hide several small wounds around her throat. Her calloused hands move through the kitchen with remarkable grace and speed, honed by decades of dedication and care.
