Nimra - doomed from birth

She was born in the shadow of doom, and raised by its silence.   Nimra wasn't supposed to be born within the doomed year, but she was born a day and 3 hours after full term which landed her in into the doomed year by 3 hours.( a truly rare case, as most births occur 4-6 weeks before full term).   Her childhood was quiet, the stigma was strong and most didn't want to mourn so they kept their distance.   As the sun set on the 99th year Nimra sat in her room awaiting the inevitable. Then it happend, the Castle Ring appeared on her right pinky. It would be a few days before she would feel the pull of the castle and the tornament begin.
