Law of Translocaton

While Translocation (or teleportation, as it is more commonly known) is the means of instantly transferring an object from point A to point C (without crossing point B). While it is technically possible to perform such a feat with arcane magic, the strain placed on the body when casting such a spell would be enough to destroy a small castle, and as such Arcanists who experiment with the theoretical application of Translocation are forced to approach any magical hypothesis with a great sense of caution and precision.

At several points in history, Arcanists have made considerable efforts to master the art of Translocation, the majority of experiments have been with with a cross between disaster and failure. There are just enough orphaned experiments however, that show an occasional large group of arcanists to teleport small objects across the room. Everytime this happens, Translocation becomes a great sense of speculation across the continent - however when follow up experiments failed to reproduce the same results public interest (and eventually Imperial Silver) eventually turn to more fruitful endeavors.
