The Civil Era

The Civil Era stretches from the time Navarog was slain to the death of the first Draoi. The Archanea League successfully destroyed Navarog once and for all, preventing the Lord of Shadows from ever rising again. This ushered in the Civil Era (known as the 6th Era elsewhere in Melia), marked by a beginning of peace and reassurance across the world that the future was safe. However, in the Imaruth Archipelago, this reassurance was swiftly broken by a surge of magic, known as the Swelling, never before seen on the planet and all the chaos that came with it.
