Summary
The Second Death of an Immortal - The Killing of Makolgera, Goddess of the Winds and Storms, by the Hands of Yharm - Era of Demise
Life, Death
Makolgera is the Goddess of the Winds and Storms, she was almost robotic in nature, focusing solely on her duty of performing tasks relating to the weather and winds. She would do this constantly, day in and day out, without any question or remarks, she did her duty to protect the world she was told to uphold. She thrived on being told what to do, the direct opposite of what a deity like Yharm is. She was very much into honor and protecting people, including the mortals in the world she is controlling the weather for. She is a being of order, her word is as trustworthy as the rising and setting of the sun each day. Yharm decided she didn't like this, the Goddess of the Damned, being a creature of her own authority, decided she would take out Elune, the Goddess of the Moon, after learning the ways of killing an immortal, something said to never be possible, and in that moment, Makolgera broke her duty to uphold her code of honor, to protect the ones she holds dear, a friend. In this moment of selflessness, her life was also taken.
Makolgera's body faded into the atmosphere, becoming one with the wind that she controlled. Her consciousness was all that was left, unbeknownst to Yharm, and was implanted in the storm, a shadow of the former goddess...
