Session Three of "The Horrors Beyond the Crypt!"

Our party, with their hopes not so high, manage to make their way to a clearing where a tavern is located. Knowing the area, William informs the others that this is Tuskar's Tavern, a location where travelers can stop and rest between Oceania and Dawnbury. Fresh off the adrenaline of battle and being resurrected by the magic man, they consider themselves the "Adventurer's of Oceania" like the Goddess, Tetra, named them. They attempt to enter the tavern, however, are pushed aside by multiple armed men leaving the building. Threatening them with violence, the men, who appear to be Bandits, attack our party. Swiftly taking care of them, as well as a Barbarian type Bandit that came out of the building towards the end. They kill them all and head inside to see if there are any survivors. They manage to find a trail of blood leading to a basement of sorts. They head down, weapons drawn, and happen upon a wounded Luxodon slumped in the corner. The large elephant creature appears to be wounded heavily, however, with his medical experience, Kimball manages to patch him up, allowing him to regain conciousness again.   He thanks them and introduces himself as the owner of the tavern, Tuskar. They get him upstairs and share a drink with him. The party informs him of what happened to Oceania and their tale of being chosen by the Goddess, as well as becoming alive again due to a mysterious magic man. He believes them, however, states that they should probably keep that on the downlow, as many people might not. Before Tuskar is able to share his entire story, firebombs are thrown at the building from outside, as more Bandits come to avenge their fallen brothers. Swiftly, the party escapes the burning building with Tuskar, and he stops to look at his livelihood burnt to cinder. He informs the party that, with nothing left, he is going to head to Oceania and try to clean up the mess that Yharm created. This is the last we see of Tuskar for now...
