Session Seven of "The Horrors Beyond the Crypt!"

When the sessions started, Bianca and the party decided to take two more bounties, one of a missing cat, and one of a missing boy. Taking a few hours for each of them. They contacted a woman in the tavern by the name of Lilian Mannor, she is an older human woman who claims she lost her cat, Mr. Ruffles, a black and white tuxedo cat. She gives them a location where he ran off to and they immediately set off to help. Before leaving town, however, they stop at the Gnome Depot building to find the pet store druids to see if they collected any strays recently. They hadn't found Mr. Ruffles, but would help in his search. Aliane and Bruce would help out, both human druids, and both knowing of Mr. Ruffles, Bruce set out with the party to find him.   The party leaves Dawnbury's town limits and heads into the forest in search of the cat. Bruce and William are first to find him in an abandoned shed outside of town. However, when trying to catch him, everyone is unable to, and he flees. They follow tracks to find a naked man shivering in a clearing. Bruce determines that this man must have wildshaped into the cat, explaining why he ran and why he's naked. Bruce leaves back to Dawnbury to obtain blankets and food for the man, as to get a better understanding of the situation. The man quickly explains himself as a thief who has been by Ms. Mannor's side for months, trying to find her stash of Gold that she supposedly has. He attempts to flee, however, the party manages to get him, where he turns back into a cat. William holds him, as he's the one who caught him, and Bianca and him have to jump across this ravine they hopped over while chasing the man. The cat slips out of William's hands while he jumps over, and the cat turns back into the naked man, falling, before getting impaled by rocks below.    Bianca is shaken and William apologizes for dropping him. They meet up with Bruce and manage to tell him that they lost the man and that they want to buy Lilian a new cat to replace the druid posing as a cat. They go back to Gnome Depot's pet section and manage to find one that looks similar. Bruce and Alaine are not happy about partaking in lying to the woman, and ask them to leave the store, but not before giving them the cat for free. So the party heads back to the tavern with this new cat in hand and delivers it to Lilian Mannor, where she does not see a difference in the new one, and accepts him as Mr. Ruffles. Bianca refuses to take payment from the woman and Lilian leaves happy.    The party decides to do another bounty, this one of a lost boy named James. They leave through the West gate of town, eventually passing the Goblin Encampment, and heading to a river. They notice a ball and a toy boat beside the river bank, as well as footprints leading North. They follow them, with the guidance of Eve, the dog Bianca got before, and eventually make their way to a bandit camp. They immediately try to sneak so that the bandits don't see them, however, Kimball sneezes, alerting them to their presence. There are four Bandit, as well as a Bandit Captain. The party manages to take out the threats and realize that one of the tents has blood seeping from it. They enter to find the young boy, James, dead. He appears to have been tortured for information about the nearest town by the bandits. Confirmed by a note on the Captain. The party gets hit hard by this and decides to leave the area, heading back to Dawnbury. Before doing so, however, Bianca creates a makeshift cross for a grave marker at the river, leaving the toys behind and praying for the boy's safety in the afterlife. However, she has no idea that the boy's soul was sent to Terra Terrorium, where Yharm would judge him and send him to the Ad Terram Condemnabitur.    The party makes their way back to the town and tries to figure out what to do next. Ending the session at 4PM on Monday, May 27th, 3168 Era of Blood.
