Hornet's Breath Cocktail
Hornet's Breath. Hornet's Breath is a drink that is created using the venom of a live pickled hornet and Orcish Moonshine.
Hornet's Breath is a cocktail that is hard to find mainly because of how dangerous it is to ingest. It requires barely legal ingredients, such as Orcish Moonshine, which is the most potent alcohol one could ever purchase with a liquor license. The process to make Hornet's Breath is lengthy and interesting.
-The first step is to get a scotch glass that has been chilled to approximately 0 degrees Fahrenheit, allowing for ice crystals to form on the outside of the glass, that is the optimal temperature for the venom and the alcohol to mix. The best way to do this is to submerge the glass briefly in water, then put it in a freezer-box for some time.
-The second step is to pour about two/thirds of the glass with Orcish Moonshine, and put three ice cubes in the glass, or one big ice cube. (Sometimes it is prepared so that the ice cubes all have small hornets in them, all soaked in alcohol, but this is usually only in fancy establishments).
-The third step is to retrieve a jar filled with a pickling solution. Inside this jar, is a massive hornet, that is still alive, constantly swimming in the jar, waiting to be harvested. When the drink is ready for it, the jar needs to be opened, and the hornet needs to be grabbed carefully with tongs. Careful to not crush the venom sacks in it (or to piss it out). The venom needs to be milked from the stinger of the hornet and squeezed into the drink.
-The fourth step is to stir the drink, not with any utensil, as it will most likely burn it, just gently swirl the glass. The drink should resemble a blackish purple drink that smells and taste like a cadaver.
It is said to put you on your ass as soon as it passes your lips. You probably shouldn't order it.
