Eucidrie

On the run from the Final Hegemony almost her entire life, Eucidrie is an Exalted Orphan or a blood relative of the Pantheon who are believed to have been hunted into extinction by the Final Hegemony.

Using her connection to the Cosmic Aurora complemented by a vast knowledge of spells, Eucidrie's goal is to ferry as many Exalted Orphans out of the Sector as Chief Healer and one of the commanding trio aboard The Psygorellius.

Because no matter how kind or pleasant a friend might seem, according to Eucidrie, the only ones you can trust are family.

Origins:

Born to Aphrodite & Triton, Eucidrie spent her early years in one of Poseidon's temples on the Frodrion colony of Kyriniantes-Four as a precaution for the bad omens spreading throughout the sector. According to Eucidrie, the plan was to bring Eucidrie back to Karoj-Menos once the bad omens passed.

However, the chaos of the Invasion of Karoj-Menos changed their plans as Eucidrie witnessed the beginning stages of The Age of Anarchy as a five year old.

After years of fleeing from sanctuary to sanctuary, her sea nymph caretaker learned of a transport (hinted at being The Psygorellius) bound for the Temple of Hera full of her siblings disguised as a refugee transport. They left in the hopes of finding peace among the goddesses: Hera, Hestia, Demeter & Persephone along with the powerful Ionites who swore loyalty and service to the goddesses.

Eucidrie also learned her parents were going to be on this ship. However, all Eucidrie found was a frail and sickly Aphrodite on her death bed (given what Aeonia and her Aeonites did to her).

It was then the crew was betrayed by the tri-deck's captain, allowing Agriviate slavers to board his ship and take Eucidrie along with several passengers as slaves while killing the others (including Aphrodite & Eucidrie's caretaker) for their Ichor.

As an act of mercy, she was also spared the fate of the patron goddesses and her siblings when the Ionites murdered the goddesses and their subjects in their sanctuaries.

Eucidrie would spend 10 years as a slave, jumping from master to master within the Agriviate Fulcrum cluster. After a while, many in the Fulcrum believed Eucidrie was cursed. She would arrive at her new home, befriend a fellow slave (or even in some cases her master), and in a matter of months her friend would be met with a misfortune, Eucidrie would be blamed for it, and be sold to the next slaver for a significantly reduced price.

Eventually, Eucidrie became so removed from society that she just kept to herself and refused all company in order to find some sense of stability.

However, all this would change when a former priestess of the goddess Hecate noticed Eucidrie's magical potential and told her she wasn't cursed. Rather her negative emotions bonded with the high concentration of Ichor in her system to create a highly potent powder that transfers her emotions onto those around her.

This former priestess would teach Eucidrie how to use magic to contain her powers until her body could handle her power. And for a while, Eucidrie found peace and believed she could control her fate. Eventually, learning how to synthesize a sleeping powder so she could escape her bondage

Until one day, she woke up and found her entire complex had been murdered, eaten alive by the insectoid army of the Perxis-Sadem due to their attraction to her Aurora powder. Eucidrie had her freedom but with a renewed isolation and a heavy conscience.

Taking her former master's ship, Eucidrie became an outlaw looking for more of her kind to rescue from their bondage. However, few resigned to go with on account of the Perxis-Sadem attacking people like them with unusually high concentrations of Ichor in their bloodstream. Not to mention, her reputation as a cursed woman preceded her.

One Exalted Orphan named Gailene (who Eucidrie saved from the advances of her master) resolved to join her crusade. Only this time, the pair's luck changed as more of their kind joined their cause to free their brothers and sisters and escape from the reach of the Hellecians.

However, this dream couldn't be realized with swarms of Aurora-Consuming Perxis-Sadem insectoids terrorizing the sector. Finding a massive hive massing in the Asteroid Range of the Taygestronese, Eucidrie and her liberators discovered the remaining members of the pantheon were leading the Perxis-Sadem.

The group was divided down the middle: either help their injured relatives destroy the Hellecians or bargain with their parents' killers to find some peace. Gailene convinced Eucidrie to help the Hellecians, for the sake of all living things in the sector and to complete the passing of the torch to the next generation of rulers.

Eucidrie and Gailene (disguised as displaced refugees) pleaded the Exalted Orphans' case to King Thesacles and his council of Delots. The Orphans told them to barter for an immunity zone where under Exalted Orphans can settle and live their lives free of Hellecian intervention in exchange for spying on Perxis-Sadem movements.

The Hellecians agreed to their terms and Eucidrie's intel proved useful in helping the Hellcians unite and push back the swarm.

Eventually, the united Hellecians captured the weakened gods and executed them for their treason. This scattered the swarm to the far reaches of the sector. The Hellecians then made the Thessalikki Promise to not restore the ravaged cities The Perxis-Sadem destroyed until the swarm and all their conspirators have been slain.

However, when it came time to delivering on their promise to Eucidrie. The newly-Formed Delothian Collective reneged on their agreement made by King Thesacles (who went missing all of a sudden). The automatons rounded up Eucidrie's compatriots and executed them all as traitors.

However, when it came to executing Eucidrie and Gailene (still in disguise), their DTOS prevented them from executing refugees coerced into conspiracy. So the newly-formed Council of the Ten Digits gave them life sentences instead.

From that moment on, the Perxis-Sadem threat became a rallying moment for all four Patrokonoi-Hellecia as they banded together to destroy the enemies of freedom and democracy by executing the entire pantheon and their families.

And from this, Eucidrie's despair and hatred towards the Hellecians returned ten fold.

Escape/Aboard Psygorellius:

When Ulysses "Ollie" Dylos separated Gailene (what she believed to be her last living blood relative) from Eucidrie forever, she lost whatever sense of community she had left. It's also when Eucidrie learned to take her frustrations out on Dylos.

However, it was Dylos who gave Eucidrie her feeling of hope back, allowing her to board the ship responsible for taking away her freedom and her life as a goddess.

AJ will make Dylos and Eucidrie his primary advisors. Unaware, Eucidrie and Dylos will be using the commander to help him achieve their own goals rather than the pursuit of the Aurora Crown and/or the exploration of the universe.

Since Eucidrie is made of seaweed-like tendril infused with CA. And AJ shifts between differing personalities while in the presence of CA. All she has to do to have a more pliable AJ is jab him with her tendril in his vulnerable area on his forehead.

That is if Ollie hasn't beaten her to the punch, in his goal to return to Earth.

This seesaw effect between Ollie and Eucidrie will play out for most of the series (maybe in a romantic capacity as well) as they each find a way to outdo the other's plotting while trying to remain in AJ's confidence.

Eucidrie's goal is to smuggle her brothers and sisters (which she believes Ollie is for a time) and bring them to the safest planet outside the reach of all four Patrokonoi-Hellecia.
