Nausea

Tandy looked at Prun-Devi Boutella, who had been retching for the last hour. "You going to be ok?"   Prun couldn't even stop retching, although nothing was coming out anymore. She met Tandy's eyes with a very worried gaze. Tandy just took a sample of her blood and fluids, and told the duty corpsman to get her admitted.
The IV on her arm was the only reason she wasn't dehydrating, nor starving herself eventually.   "You caught a chaos bug. I might have to classify this as a bioweapon, and I'm terrified that I caught it, although I've done my own blood work three times, and I seem to be clear."   "Is... it fatal?"   "I don't know, but I don't think so yet."
"Who do we assign to this?"   "The Regs are clear, only people who already have the clearance can be assigned to Intelligence work, even temporarily."   "I'm the only vermilion-cleared officer in the gorramit-fethed place!"   "No, you're not." Michael said, very quietly.   "..." Sophia bit her tongue not to say anything, saying something on impulse to a commissar was never a good idea, whether you were sleeping with him or not. She'd forgotten that of course, her Commissar was cleared for everything she was, because he wasn't "an officer" of hers. If anything, he had authority over her. She breathed, trying to calm herself.   "Thank you for volunteering to keep me informed, Michael."   "It's the Emperor's Duty."
