Gaii'nus, the nurturing goddess, wandered through the wide forests and open fields, her heart overflowing with joy at the beauty of the world. She approached the tallest and proudest tree in the forest, its branches stretching toward the sky like a verdant crown. With reverence, she touched the tree's trunk, and its essence began to transform. The tree's body began to shift, taking on the form of a deer, yet retaining its arboreal majesty. Thus, the Onodrim, the giant tree beast, came into being. Gaii'nus entrusted the Onodrim with the guardianship of the deepest, most ancient forests, where the secrets of the earth lay hidden.
