Sol’nus’s Pleading

1.1.009 (Au)

Sol’nus relays his sister’s wish to Uro’nus, urging creation of a mindful race. The father-god consents, resolving to fashion creatures “in our likeness.”

Sol’nus, feeling the weight of his sister’s sorrow, was moved deeply. Understanding the longing for a richer existence, he hurried to where their father had created the grand city born of Uro'nus's dreams. With love in his voice and hope in his heart, he approached Uro'nus and spoke earnestly, “O father, the world you have created may be bursting with life, yet Gaii’nus deeply feels the emptiness among those living. She sees their lives as fragile and fleeting, lacking the essence of connection and meaning.”
Uro'nus, who had listened intently, recognized the truth in Sol’nus's words. There was love woven into the intricacies of their family, and it echoed in the longing of Gaii’nus. With a thoughtful nod, he declared, “You speak wisely, my son. Love is what sustains existence; therefore, we shall create a new creature in our likeness, imbued with purpose and spirit, to walk upon the earth and explore the vastness of the world—let us create the Kind, the first of the people from whom all others will descend.”
