Skogheim
Skogheim is the coastal capital of the High Jarldom of Dádýr in the High Kingdom of Fjallheima. Perched at the mouth of the Skogr River on the Northern Sea, the town shelters between a rocky promontory and the dense pine forests that give Dádýr its reputation as Fjallheima’s premier lumber producer. With a year‐round population of roughly 2,000–3,000 inhabitants, Skogheim serves as the jarldom’s administrative, commercial, and shipbuilding hub. Its riverfront sawmills process timber harvested from the Dragon Tooth Mountains’ foothills, while local shipwrights outfit longships and merchant vessels for export. Overlooking the harbour, the High Jarl’s timber‐built hall anchors the town both politically and militarily, hosting regional Things and mustering levies in times of need.
