Fendric comes from a long line of farmers, but he’s never been particularly interested in his family’s work. He found himself more drawn to books and knowledge than plowing the fields or tending animals. However, when his village faced a famine and the land was slowly dying, he was forced to take up the mantle of a farmer, learning through trial and error how to revive the soil and bring fertility back to the land. Though he’s reluctant to embrace his heritage, he’s now a skilled agriculturalist.
