Week 1: Nourishment

  Well, nourishment to me means a lot of things... I mean a lot. Breaking it down to it's base concept all it is a thing being used for the benefit of another. Whether it is mutual or parasitic is irrelevant to the concept for me. I have a few things I want to talk about for that! I'm thinking about talking about the actual nature of the real conflict in the Great Tree and the... ehm... roots of the world. I should say, the not-roots of this so called Great Tree!  

• I want to build on the shadows and how they use the Divine Spark of the Children they

  . The afterlife in the Great Tree is absolutely not what it appears to be.

 

• I also want to talk about what the Archon Stones are actually and why The Quartet needs them. Specifically Vilorlith.

 

• I think that nourishment isn't very limited to the general idea of consumption, though the consumption is related to a large degree. I want to dive into how the world views the Shadows, (ah hell, I might as well) or should I say the current Pantheon. Why they renew their connections to their "gods", and why they DO NOT see them as evil.

Week 2: Roots

  Ok ok ok ok ok ok....ok alright ok. I HAVE A LOT OF IDEAS AND OPINIONS ON THIS ONE. So like last year there are a few concepts that I just adore, and roots and where they come from is one of them. Roots have so much meaning into a setting that I could argue that without a good connection to the past would make everything in the present absolutely meaningingless. So who cares if your MC has super hyper divine armor given to them by the blessing of God himself, what makes that actually significant?  

• So, to be blunt, there is going to be one article that will be part of the world Meta, the name the Great Tree doesn't refer to an actual tree, this isn't some Yggdrasil, this isn't some grand druid circle, this isn't even something related to any type of nature magic at all. It's a bit more of a description :P

 

• I want to talk about the Shadows more, and wWHwwhy they are new gods. I think it's high time I actually write about the War with the Shadows, I've referenced it enough, but it adds a level of depth to The Elsewhere and why it's even there.

 

• I also want to work on some concept about how to see the roots of the past, and how things have grown and changed can open new doors to other things. I should say, to plant new roots. No this isn't going to a new project, but more of a work on the Finale that is more than a few years away at this point.

Week 3: Metamorphosis

  Hmm, I've done this before. I'll be honest and say I'm not entirely excited about it, one of the core concepts in the world is that statis is boring, that nothing can escape change, no matter how much they try. Not even the divines are immune to the one fundamental ideology, that by existing things change and grow, die and regrow. Any part of this as it moves from one to the next, changes. Either way, I do have a few things I want to talk about:  

• Would like to talk more about the new branch of Magic Ilgor of the Skullbrood Clan eventually creates and how it is fundamentally different from both current branches of magic.

 

• I ACTUALLY WANT TO FINISH THE BROWNIE ARTICLE, the Great Mother with her and her shapeshifting children's abilities to control sound and air is something I've been meaning to get done for a while. Or really anything about them that is more than just hints... (opps... anyone that has read enough of one certain article might already have a big hint.)

 

• I would also like to talk about the current social climate of the Great Tree and how Goblins, Mistwalkers, Neckbreakers and Trolls are eventually going to become an accepted piece in society. As well as Humanity/Gnomes/Dwarves learning about a rather unsettling shared root and how they have changed over time.

Week 4: Tomorrow

  Hmm, a question of possibility. About possibility, the future is but an endless series of branching paths based on actions made by all things simultaneously. What a wonderfully impossible question to answer! I suppose I could talk about the various technologies emerging in the wake of the Industrial revolution, or I should say re-emerging in the case of a few choice tech branches. I could talk about the plans and plot work of stories more? I could go into detail about many other plot lines, a more meta look and break down of the plans for the world.   I could talk about the hopes and dreams of the people of the world, I could talk about the events on the horizon that non can ignore for time waits for none. Hmm, I don't have a plan for this topic, and I kind of like it that way. I suppose inspiration will come when the prompts drop!
