Multi Tracking

"My my, well aren't you a natural!" Gjorn laughed, his belly shaking from his mirth. Though, he swatted aside my spell without much issue. "Can you try a bit harder for me? I want to see what you are really capable of." He said as his fingers crackled with energy, his song changing in pitch.   I reacted without even realizing it, matching my pitch to his, only in opposite tempo. A song played in a reverse key, as the lightning arced from his fingers and caught mine. A shift change in tone and my hand sunk into the earth as if it were water, grounding his bolt. I wouldn't let him slide, though the smile gave away my intention without meaning to. He side stepped my slash with the saber, vibrating with my voice slashing the spaces between air. Small snaps of collapsing vacuums casing cavitations in the air as it sang through where his guard spell had just been.
"See now, Ilgor. You keep switching between songs, try to be better at this." He sound as if he was bored, then again I couldn't blame him too much. He had been effortlessly smacking away my spells and evading me this entire time, I guess talent only gets one so far. "Is that all that rotten Sorcerer had been able to teach you?"   That threw me off, I hadn't told him about the Sorcerer. How did he know? Though, he didn't give me much time to think as he siphoned all the air out of my lungs and apparently in a bubble around me. I knew this trick, just because I couldn't speak didn't mean there was not a song being sung, reminding myself as the beat of my heart became my new song. Switching between songs...   I rushed him, faster, using that spell the Sorcerer had drilled into my head. That Elemental one, I was outside his airless bubble faster than he could blink. The shock in his eyes, that smile again, I knew I had taken him off guard. Switching songs... I changed pitch and tone, though I noticed something. I added my own voice on top of itself, like singing a duet with myself. As the pocket of air that I was rapidly condensing into a pinpoint I had every intention of letting go in a steam explosion, I started healing myself while condensing the air. "Sorry" I said as I braced for what was going to hurt like a bitch.   A colossal boom sounded off as our little clearing where we were sparing, fog having filled the entire area. The burns on my skin healing rapidly as my spell took hold, only a fraction of a second later I was back on my feet. I rushed over to Gjorn to heal him, feeling like maybe I had gone too far for a practice fight. He started laughing, "Sung like a true Child! Oh how The Great Mother would be proud of you!"

Effect

Layers Spells on top of each other, often synergizing them into amplified effects or entirely different effect. The Spell is essentially "paused" while a new one is being sung into existence, and the process repeats for as many as the Caster is capable of holding. Though, the Caster will need to "unpause" all spells at the same time, though stringing multiple spells together requires a vast amount of talent, or technical know-how.

Manifestation

Entirely depends on what the skill and will of the Caster intends. Should they sing the songs of Lightning and Rain at the same time, they could conjure a thunderstorm. Should they Sing a song without air and stone, they could turn the rock beneath your feet to a pool of dust. Should they string together a few healing spells on themselves while singing a song of glory and bloodlust, well, that would be an opponent who would not fall easily.

Gestures & Ritual
One needs to understand the song of the world, understand that the flow is a malleable beat and tempo to conduct with. Changing the beat the to the Caster's song to harmonize briefly with the Song's Afterglow is required. As the spell harmonizes with the Afterglow, a new Spell may be sung immediately without interference of time.

While many are technically capable of using this technique, it comes naturally to the Children of Vilorlith, while it a bitter and hard earned skill to anyone else. The largest determining factors is that dictate the amount of spells that can be cast at the same time is natural capability (such as the case with Brownies), and the Level of Talent(s) someone possesses.
