Earth Fall
Taneth The Navigator, commanded me to run the drill again, forcing me to keep the portal open for longer than I felt I could hold it. But, his doggedness kept my hands steady. Knees wavering like a leaf in the storm, arms aching like I had been on the wrong side of a bar fight, mind starting to break from keeping a portal open from one side of Aleglsia to the other. The portal snapped shut with a colossal boom that shook the dust from the curtains of the training hall.
I sank to my knees, exhausted. "Well done, Gjorn, not many would have expected this amount of talent from you. I certainly didn't, you have progressed so quickly. Then again, what should I expect from the Queen's, favorite." He grinned as he turned away, too quickly for me to make a retort. "Don't worry, no one knows except for the inner circle."
I wheezed as I tried to stand on my feet, honor not allowing me to sit and be teased in such a way. But, he cut me off with a sharp jab to the chest knocking me back down. "It's not as if she speaks of you often, but it's the way she speaks about you. What did you find in the bottom of her tower?"
"You don't sound as if you disapprove." Was all I could manage.
"Me? No, though Anlyth is different story, I do not think Y'vitol has an opinion. It has been a very long time since we've seen her smile." He turned away from me again. "I should leave, I sense her coming. Do not disappoint Mother, boy." His grin was as if it was visible even through the thick wooden door he had just shut behind him.
And before I knew it, Alnya stood before me. Nothing in the room from one blink to the next, the next slow blink had her smiling face staring down to me with her eyes wide open. The fire that seeped from her eyes, the pale green iris's still visible even through that glory. "Gjorn, you look like you've had quite the day!" Her words like honied wine to my ears as she brought her lips to mine.
The next instant, I was floating. Hand in hand with her defying the laws of this world she herself had built. Only to come crashing back down with her in a laughing heap.
Effect
The Caster is able to reverse the pull of gravity, pushing themselves and any object within arms reach away from it's source. There appears to be no limit to the mass of an object once cast, so long as it is within the arms reach of the spellcaster, though it has been noted that this often breaks the caster's focus should it be an object they would not be able lift on their own.
Side/Secondary Effects
What goes up, must come down. The higher the caster travels with this spell, the greater the risk once their concentration breaks. Situational use of this spell is extremely cautioned.
