Basics
Culinaromancy is an off shoot of
bardic magic. Food and drink having innate magic properties is entirely possible, if the food and drink has been prepared with an intense concentration, passion, or experimentation. This typically works with intent in mind. just as a Bard may sing a song in a happy tone, but it being an comprised of angry lyrics, that magic manifests however the Bard wishes. Thus is the same for Culinaromancy, well made food made by someone with a
Talent , can be imbued with magic, to the benefit or detriment to who ever eats it.
A few prime examples would be if a loaf of bread is made with the intent to heal, those that eat it will be healed beyond just for sustenance. Or if a bottle of booze is made to make someone have no limitations, the person that drinks it, will find their lack of inhibition tenfold, and that their actions have much more effect.
"Now why shouldn't I be able to cast spells? I just made a spell, that bowl in your hand is my spell. Magic in this world is a strange thing. Magic is dictated by intent, passion, and veracity! Why my cooking is my expression of magic, your bardic collage is far too uptight about what is art and inspiring. If you are going to be so ungrateful to not appreciate a well made meal, maybe you ought not have attended that collage of arts at all." - Culinarmancers argument with a local Bard.
