History of Creation
Following Vin’mahsa and all the chaos that ensued. The remaining gods gathered to decide if new life should be created or if it was time to end Na’vasa. After much debate it was decided that life would begin anew and three mortal races would be created. Am’sa would begin by bolstering the remaining animal species through the world. The remaining first born that sided with the House of Light, were allowed to remain as long as they left to the far off reaches of the world. The first of the mortal races would be the Loh’ka. The Loh’ka were mortal beings created in the image of the gods. These humanoid beings would become shepherds for the mortal races and were granted unnatural long life. These mortals would age slowly for a thousand years so they could pass on their knowledge. Within the Loh’ka would be different tribes, each granted a different type of knowledge to fuel cooperation with one another.

The youngest of the Loh’kan tribes is the Ek’o. The Ek’o are not a tribe that were created by the gods, they were created in the chaos that followed the Fifth Crusade. Sometime around 360 BEM, religious turmoil and past conflicts with the Ott’var reached a breaking point. Many Proto nations believed that the old gods no longer held any power over their world. A genocide that would stretch across half the world would send tens of thousands of Loh’ka fleeing in all directions. Several loh’kan tribes, along with some proto tribes, would travel beyond the wastelands of Khal'san and beyond the Nor'tarie sea in search of a new home. They would eventually find the lost continent of Mro'st beyond Mah'vos, the great storm. In the new land they would make a home and the bloodlines would mix. Born out of this chaos would be the Ek’o, also known as the lost folk.
Many decades later the Ek’o would return to the mainland and become known for their black hair and grey eyes. Their once sharp ears would become a less common trait but they would retain their pointed features common among the Loh’ka.
