Zarveth
Harbringer of Eternal Torment (a.k.a. The Shattered Soul & Imprisoned void)
Zarveth, the Harbinger of Eternal Torment, stands as the most feared of all divine beings, a god whose very name is spoken in hushed tones by mortals and immortals alike. Unlike others divine, Zarveth does not merely command the power a single realm but holds dominion over two: the endless chaos of Pandemonium and the scorched ruins of the once ordered realm of Mechanus. Where other gods shape their realms through philosophy, belief, or governance, Zarveth reshaped his through annihilation. The tales say that he rose first within the screaming winds of Pandemonium, born of pure rage and suffering, only to then reach through the Astral Sea and shatter Mechanus, unravelling its perfect order and bending its core into his control.
When the God of Pandemonium first became known it was viewed with caution but nothing uncontrollable. A year later everything changed when he claimed his second realm, killing the then ascending god and shattering the realm before absorbing it. While he disapeared back into Pandemonium it caused extreme panic among the remaining gods which caused them to search for another realm to rule to balance the scales leading to the The War for Midranor. After the war, with no other victor a unique and unprecedented alliance of five gods, led by Velistara, descended upon Pandemonium. The battle was brutal and brief. Zarveth was not destroyed, for such a thing was thought impossible, but instead sealed deep within the heart of his own chaotic domain. Since then, his rage has not subsided. His prison leaks slowly into the rest of existence: wild storms, mindless bloodshed, and endless nightmares are whispered to be his reach clawing back into the world. Even the strongest gods fear him for if Zarveth were ever released again… there may be no force left that could stand in his way.

Accomplishments & Achievements
Zarveth’s greatest - and most infamous - accomplishment came with his second ascension, when he tore the realm of Mechanus from its ascending god and claimed it as his own. At the time, the notion of a god being killed, let alone having their realm ripped away, was considered unthinkable. Realms were seen as reflections of divine will, intrinsically bound to their creator. But Zarveth, acting alone, marched into the realm of perfect order, and one by one slaughtered the constructs and protectors that stood between him and the core. The ascendant being—whose name has since been forgotten—was slain before the bond could be completed. Mechanus buckled under the weight of Zarveth’s fury, its laws fractured, and its gears ground into twisted silence.
Though the battle lasted less than a day, the force of Mechanus collapsing was felt across multiple planes. Survivors who escaped through portals into the Astral Sea or other nearby realms spoke of a madness they could not describe—a chaos made mass that raged not for conquest, but for something deeply personal. A few witnesses recalled a phrase uttered by Zarveth as he tore through the realm:
“...where were you...
...it’s your fault.”
The meaning of these statement remains debated, but most agree on its implication: Zarveth was not just a god of destruction—he was enacting vengeance. Why, or on whom, remains one of the most terrifying mysteries as he was willing to destoy an entire realm to achieve his goal .
