Stardust Insanity

Stardust is a commonly used component in most medicines, since it has many soothing effects. It is used especially common in pain killers and sedatives.

Recently though people have started to acquire pure stardust through other means and taking it without caution.

Not to mention that there are different types of stardust that exsist. Some of which have highly toxic properties.

Causes

This condition can only be caught by ingesting some form of pure stardust. There are different types that are more toxic than others even if their symptoms feel similar.

Ingesting a high dosage or using stardust regularly over a prolongued period of time are the most common way to succumb to stardust insanity.

Symptoms

Symptoms include but are not limited to profuse sweating, hallucinations, slow movement, either extrem tiredness or overexcitedness, quick eye movement, the craving for bananas, fever, not making any sense, having sweta that smells like strawberries and sometimes complete insanity.

Treatment

It is always important when these symptoms occur to meet with an expert immediately.

Treatment can vary quite a bit. Sometimes it can be enough for the affected to sleep it off under supervision. Depending of the specific symptoms different medications will work as well. Sometimes medicine that wakes one up again is more effective, sometimes a sedative is more effective.

Prognosis

Usually the condition is not fatal if treated properly, but there are many people that will not recognize the symptoms and do not act accordingly.

Fatality can occur, especially in cases when people become extremely tired and just go to sleep. This is the most common way to die.

One of the most fatal cases of stardust insanity can be caused by the dark variant since it works a lot quicker and causes severe hallucinations and brain damage. Even if it is survived many will have long lasting problems.
