The Golden Realms

Long before the birth of any humanoid, the world was a black void. This void then erupted into the realm and the surrounding stars by a single whisper. "Become". Humanoidkind has long strived for a world of their own. In lands previously untamed and humanoids being spread far and wide, many, many years ago, a glimmer of hope and progress arrived. This piece to the puzzle of history arrived in the form of a falling star. When it hit what is now known as the golden realms, it brought with it magic. It brought with it hope. It brought with it ingenuity, for the pieces of that star were used to create many things. Buildings evolved. Lands were conquered. Magic flared up. And from what comes good, comes also Evil. That is how the Golden Realms came to be. Magic and Magitek have progressed over the millenia to what we know now. Many an arcanist, magus and others are working day in, day out, attempting to advance these magical properties to a new stage, a new era.
