Reporter for the Roanoke Times. The company has been struggling financially for years due to the surge of digital newspapers. Unfortunately, the Roanoke Times never got with the times and has been lacking the funds to pay employees. Luckily, Sophie is one heck of a gal, as her love for being a reporter trumps her love for money, and she's stuck around. Of course, she still has to pay the bills...which is why she's here.
