The North
The North is the snow covered region in Shoilaria that is home to the Shoilaria clan named the Northerners.
Though the planet is at war, Northerners of Shoilaria accept visitors, and for most of the galaxy, this is where visitors go. More fortified than the other regions of Shoilaria, there's little chance of invasion.
Geography
Snow, mountains, and more snow is what'll be found in The North.
Compared to the other regions of Shoilaria, The North is more technologically advanced. Skyscrapers and large fortifications keep the Northerners cozy, albeit still cold, in their strongholds. Maglevs connect several larger settlements with main cities and large bases are often found around their territory.
Natural Resources
Rare crystals can be mined deep underground.
Hares and bears are known to live in caves, coming out out only to feast before going back into hibernation.
