Durable Immortality

Durable Immortality is not a transferable condition. Any offspring produced by a Durable Immortal will likely be in near perfect health for their species and have a longer than average life naturally, but are still vulnerable to disease, poison, and physical harm.

This form of immortality is induced medically using advanced TL5 technology.

1. The induvidual stops aging at the prime physical age for their species. For humans this is about 30 years old. They will remain in perfect physical health for their species regardless of lifestyle, being incapable of muscle atrophy, mental degeneration, or drug overdose. If they are made immortal after their species' prime physical age, they will regress to that age.   2. The induvidual can no longer catch, carry, or transmit any known natural diseases within their body or bodily fluids.   3. The induvidual is able to metabolize any poisons or venom introduced to their body. This is not an instant process and a particularly virulent poison or potent venom can render the induvidual unconsciousness for an extended period of time while they recover.   4. The induvidual is incapable of death through asphyxiation though they can still be rendered unconscious from oxygen deprivation if their species requires it.   5. The induvidual is capable of healing and regenerating back to perfect health from any physical injury that does not kill them outright, such as decapitation or full body detonation.   6. The induvidual's fertility/virility is severely reduced to about 1% of their species average level. If female they cannot miscarry or stillborn naturally, and if male, their partner will have severely reduced odds of the same. The offspring will always be of the same gender as the immortal induvidual.   7. The induvidual is incapable of reproduction with another Durrable Immortal.

It is known that Durrable Immortals were much more common in the Pre-Scream Era. As far as it is known, all Pre-Scream Durrable Immortals have been killed as of the current date, with the possible exception of The Immortal Prophet.

Mostly situational but most Durrable Immortals are seen in a mixture of awe, fear, loathing and envy.
