Krenian Dwarf Details

Krenian Dwarves are Dwarves native to the continent of Kerine.

A resilient race of people, Krenian Dwarves originated from the northern mountain ranges of Kerine. Originally an underground-dwelling race, they have since adapted to life outside the underground, forming villages, towns, and cities in the frigid north, just south of the mountains. Primarily living on the surface, Krenian Dwarves endure the cold environment they’ve settled in and have learned to live in harmony with it, integrating it into their crafts, agricultural practices, and arts. Krenian Dwarves tend to be proud and jolly folk, eager to give a warm meal and a roof to sleep under to anyone down on their luck and struggling.

In modern day, some Krenian Dwarves have migrated even further south, integrating into the more populated parts of Kerine that reside along the center equator of the continent.

Because of their northern adaptation, they tend to dress down in colder environments. Otherwise, masculine Krenian Dwarves tend to adorn their facial hair with metallic runes that represent their trade, family, or aspirations, while more feminine ones add similar adornments to their hair. If they’re particularly wealthy, these adornments will be covered in a thin layer of ice that never seems to melt.

• Northern Resilience: You have Resistance to Cold damage. You also naturally acclimate to high altitudes, and can ignore the adverse effects of cold weather conditions.
• Dwarven Toughness: Your Hit Point maximum increases by 1, and it increases by 1 again whenever you gain a level.
• Blood of Ice: You have advantage on Strength-based ability checks and Strength saving throws.
