Firbolg
Firbolg Details
Tirian Firbolgs are Firbolgs that originate from Metiria. Similarly to Dimiir, all Firbolgs originate from Metiria.
Firbolgs, once associated with the vibrant nature that thrived on Metiria and the fruits it provided, now tend to be more charismatic, following in the steps of Jherran Dol’Vastros as a public speaker, politician, or diplomat. They also tend to be grifters, charlatans, and smooth talkers, using their supposed gift of gab for coin. They tend to stick with things, whether they be jobs, groups, or places, until they’re no longer optimal, often lending to their somewhat nomadic and finicky nature.
They either live life lavishly, trying to gain the greatest amount of land or the biggest house, or they live on the road in large wagons and trailers. Despite this, many Firbolgs still retain some of their initial ability to commune with nature’s beings, occasionally being associated by The Doctrine as Vantis agents (despite this prejudice officially being long dropped by The Doctrine). Some Firbolg societies in Kerine have fully abandoned their city-living ways and now have supposedly returned to their roots out in the wilds of Kerine.
They tend to have brown, tan, or sandy fur. Their fur also tends to be mottled, usually wearing ostentatious clothing that matches the patterns on their fur. Patterns tend to be carried across bloodlines, like a multi-generational birthmark.
More feminine Firbolgs tend to grow out their nails, naturally turning them into claws, whereas more masculine ones grow out their hair, braiding parts of it on their head, body, and tail when they grow long enough. Depending on the wealth of the Firbolg, jewelry and coins might be integrated into the braids
